Recipe for Mix Vegetable Masala Khichdi:
1 Cup Rice
1 Cup Split Green Gram
2 Potatoes Peeled and Cubed
1 Cup Frozen Mix Vegetable ( Carrots ,Beans, Green Peas ,Cauliflower)
Salt to Taste
1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder
3 Garlic Pods Finely Chopped
1 Tsp Finely Chopped Ginger
1/2 Tsp Jeera Powder
1 Tsp Pav Bhaji Masala
1/4 Tsp Haldi
1 Tsp Jeera
1/2 Tsp Mustard seeds
1/4 Tsp Hing
1 Tomato Finely Chopped
2 Green Chillies Slit
1 Onions finely Chopped
Fresh Coriander to garnish
1 Tsp Ghee
1/2 Cup Chopped Spring Onion
2 Tsp Oil
6 Cups of Water
Wash the rice and split green gram and soak for 10 min.
Place the cooker on the stove and switch on. Add oil and ghee.
Now add jeera ,hing and mustard.
As it splutters add chopped ginger , garlic ,green chilli and onions.
Once the onions are nicely browned add potatoes and frozen veggies.
