THAI PEANUT NOODLES(VEGETARIAN)

Today I am sharing an amazing flavorful recipe that can be put together in just 15 minutes. Hard to believe? Hmm…. Try it to believe it. A delicious breakfast or dinner recipe that can be made quickly. It is a fabulous treat for all those who love peanut butter. I just fell in love with this mildly sweet ,sour and spicy Thai Peanut Noodles.

What are the Ingredients for Thai Peanut Noodle?

  • Linguine Noodles : These are flat Noodles easily available in Asian Stores.
  • Peanut Butter:Peanut butter is a edible paste or spread made from ground, dry-roasted peanuts.I have used Unsweetened Version.
  • Soya Sauce: Adds a classic flavor to the sauce and is an Asian favorite
  • Sesame Oil:Adds a unique flavor to the sauce
  • Vegetable Broth:Enhance the taste of the sauce and gives it a nice smooth texture.
  • Minced Garlic:Gives a strong flavor and blends well with the sauce.
  • Sriracha Sauce: Adds a little spice to the noodles.
  • Shredded Ginger:Fresh ginger is the best to enhance the flavors
  • Spring Onions: I have the greens only for garnish.
  • Sesame Seeds:Gives a nice texture to the noodles when you garnish
  • Bean Sprouts: I love them as they add a nice crunch to the noodles

Recipe for Thai Peanut Noodles:

Ingredients:

  • 225 Gms of Linguine Noodles
  • 2.5 Tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
  • 3 Tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 Tsp Honey
  • 1 Tsp Grated Ginger
  • 2 Tsp Spring onions to garnish (only the greens)
  • Sesame seeds to garnish
  • Roasted and crushed peanuts to garnish
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Broth
  • 1 Tsp Sriracha Chilli Sauce
  • 1/2 Birds eye chilli chopped
  • Some Bean sprouts for garnish ( optional)

Method:

  • Cook the noodles as per instructions on the packet and drain the excess water.
  • In a pan whisk peanut butter, sesame oil,soya sauce, sriracha ,honey, minced garlic,shredded ginger and vegetable broth and cook on medium heat until smooth. Turn off the heat.
  • Toss the noodles in the peanut sauce , garnish with roasted and crushed peanuts, sesame seeds ,birds eye chilli , bean sprouts and spring onions.
  • Serve Immediately.

  3. My husband is a big fan of Thai noodles but I never tried it at home. Peanut butter flavored Noodles sounds & looks uniques & delicious recipe. I love to add more veggies in it. Would love to try it for my family soon.
