This is season 2 with the theme still being A-Z ingredients but this time the ingredient should be in Hindi.Star ingredient should be the hindi name of the dish.So for the coming months we will be improving up our Hindi Ingredients vocabulary. This month we are sharing a recipe which starts with Letter C.
Main Ingredients for Chana Dal Vada (Rajasthani Style):
Chana Dal:Chana dal is the main Ingredient of this dish. Chana dal is a good protein source and has anti inflammatory properties and boosts immunity too.
Spices: I have used coarse coriander seeds , coarse pepper , red chilli power ,turmeric .Perfect blend of spices that adds a nice taste and crunch to the vada.
Fresh Coriander and Curry Leaves: These two are are my favourite ingredients. Gives such a nice flavor to the vada.

Chana dal vada look so delicious, crispy and with some of the dal appearing whole, crunchy too. So similar to the Gujarati style except that I don’t add curry leaves. A wonderful snack that can be enjoyed with some chatpata chutney.
