Today I am sharing a delicious condiment / sauce called Aji Picante (Colombian HotSauce) from Colombia a popular country from South America. I am intrigued by the flavors of the condiments from this region made with the fresh ingredients.The sauce is quick to whip and is insanely delicious. I am planning to try many amazing vegetarian recipes from this region. My family just loved this delicious condiment. Fresh ingredients are used to make this delicious hot sauce.

Colombian cuisine is influenced by various cultures and ethnic groups.Colombian dishes and ingredients vary widely by region. Some of the most common ingredients are:
cereals such as rice and maize
tubers such as potato and cassava
assorted legumes,
meats, including beef, chicken, pork and goat; fish; and seafood.

Did you know that colombia is a largest producer of fruit juices? Yes ….You heard it right.
Recipe for Aji Picante(Colombian HotSauce):
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Cilantro finely chopped
1/4 Cup Green Onions finely chopped
1 Red Habernero Pepper
1/4 Cup Tomato finely diced
2 Tbsp Lime juice
Salt to Taste
1/4 Tsp Ground black pepper
1 Tbsp White Vinegar
2 Garlic pods minced
Method:
Mix all the ingredients in a wide bottom bowl
Blitz in a blender once
Serve with Soups, rice ,beans ,empanadas , stews and more.
I just served baby cucumber glazed with this delicious sauce. It was amazing with a perfect balanced flavors. I can just eat it like that.
