Today I am sharing a delicious energy balls recipe that can be whipped up in just 10 minutes. Yes you heard it right. Perfect snack bite when you crave for a dessert or a sweet. Brownie energy balls (No Bake) are super addictive and can be whip up as and when you feel like eating.It is made with a handful of ingredients easily available in our kitchen .There are many varieties of energy balls which are mostly no cook recipes.

What is an Energy Ball?

Energy balls are of different types and known by various names. These are basically a combination of ingredients rolled into balls and are a no bake recipe.They can be protein based , date based, oats based ,Peanut butter based etc.Both adults and kids like them. Delicious snack compared to the junk food.

Ingredients for Brownie Energy Balls (No Bake):

  • Cashews: I have Used unsalted Cashews.Cashews contain Vitamin C,B and some folate.
  • Walnuts: Super Source of Plant based Omega 3. I have used unsalted walnuts.They are rich in antioxidants and reduces Inflammation too.
  • Cocoa Powder:Cocoa powder is rich in theobromine, which helps to reduce inflammation .It is low in fat and sugar, the calories we get from cocoa powder is packed with healthy chemicals.
  • Pitted Medjool Dates: I have used Pitted Medjool dates. Buy the dates and pit them yourself.Dates are rich in fiber and boosts Brain Health.
  • Vanilla Extract: Adds some vanilla flavor to the energy balls.
  • Dark Chocolate Chips: I have used dark chocolate chips and this is completely optional.
  • Sea Salt: I have added a pinch of sea salt.Blends well with chocolate and nuts.
  • Desiccated Coconut: You can add it with other ingredients and make balls or roll the balls in desiccated coconut later. It is entirely your choice.

Recipe for Brownie Energy Balls (No Bake):

Ingredients for Brownie Energy Balls ( No Bake):

  • 1/2 Cup Raw Cashews
  • 3/4 Cup Raw Walnuts
  • 1.5 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • Pinch of Sea Salt
  • 12 Pitted Medjool Dates
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tbsp Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Cup Desiccated Coconut


  • Blend walnuts, cashews, pitted dates , vanilla essence , sea salt , dark chocolate chips,cocoa powder untill well combined in a food processor . It will become a sticky mass.
  • Transfer this mixture on to a plate.
  • Take a tablespoon of mixture and shape them into round balls.
  • Roll these balls in desiccated coconut.
