What is a Sandwich?

A sandwich is a food typically consisting of vegetables, sliced cheese or meat, placed on or between slices of bread.he sandwich began as a portable, convenient finger food in the West, though over time it has become popular worldwide. The stuffing ideas are unlimited ranging from vegan to vegetarian to non vegetarian. The bread varieties are so many these days. Baking bread at home is so convenient and an absolute stress buster. I do use bread purchased from a fresh bakery near my place occasionally. The stuffing can be sweet or savory. There are so many innovation sandwich ideas. I love savory sandwiches anyday. Wherever we travel ,we are served a variety of breads and we always end up making our own version of sandwich.Sandwiches are widely sold in cafes, railway stations, pubs and restaurants. There are a variety of chutney and sauces that can be used to smear the bread. The choices are unlimited.

Memories of Schezwan Panner Corn Sandwich:

I have a fond memory of having tasted Schezwan Sandwich at a Sandwich place in Bangalore. My niece was the one who wanted me to try this sandwich. We usually visit this place whenever we visit Bangalore. Can’t thank her enough for this beautiful memory etched for life. Since then I have been making it at home with slightly tweaked recipe to suit our palate as I love to experiment with different stuffing . My boys just enjoy these sandwiches .
