Equipment

  • 1 Jar
  • 1 Spoon / Hand Whisk

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Tbsp Sattu Flour
  • 1/2 Tsp Chaat Masala
  • 2 Cups Chilled Water or as Required
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 Pinch Kala Namak
  • 1/4 Tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • 5 Nos Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 Tbsp Fresh Coriander leaves
  • 1 Tsp Lemon Juice

Instructions
 

  • Add sattu flour , Chaat Masala , Roasted Cumin Powder, kala namak ,black pepper powder to a jar. Mix well.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water and mix all the ingredients to get a lump free mixture.
  • Add roughly chopped mint leaves and coriander leaves and lemon juice .
  • Add chilled water and stir using a hand whisk or a spoon to get a nice lump free mixture.
  • Pour into the serving glass and serve Chilled Sattu ka Ghol / Sharbat.
  • Enjoy the summers with this traditional drink ..................................

Notes

  1. Adjust the consistency as per your preference.
  2. You can substitute green chilli with Pepper powder
  3. Chaat masala is optional but i would suggest do not skip it.
  4. Adding fresh coriander and mint leaves makes it very refreshing .
  5. You can have it on busy days . A good protein drink that will keep your body cool and full too.
  6. Having sattu moderately in your diet is good .
