GUAVA CHOW (STREET SNACK)

Today I am sharing a delicious recipe from the Caribbean Islands of Trinidad & Tobago. Trinidad is more populous Island of the two. It is the southern most island of the Caribbean. It is a multi cultural society and multi racial society. Trinidadians accompany their meals with various condiments and these include pepper sauces, chutneys and pickles and are often homemade. Guava Chow (Street snack) is another popular street food from this region. It is insanely delicious .

  1. Seriously, while I was reading the recipe, my mouth was literally watering. I’m a big fan of guava with chilli and salt so am now impatient to try out this recipe. Only snag is that I have to wait for guava season.

Interesting snack from Guava. Looks yummy and it’s nice to know about different cuisine and popular recipes. It’s a nice twist to the Guava. I Will definitely adding it to my list.

  3. Totally a different type of street food and most importantly it is healthy food. This recipe doesn’t have a long list of ingredients…

  4. I love guava so much, this Caribbean cuisine style street food looks and sounds really amazing. I loved the idea of using cloves, pepper and coriander into this very interesting dish. This must be so flavorful, loved it. Will try next season.
